Wega Srl's thickness gauge is an advanced micrometric wheeled instrument designed to accurately measure the thickness of leather,

especially wet blue, right down to 5/100 of a mm. Easily integrated into various stackers or conveyor belts, it is ideal for checking the quality of the leather at different stages during processing. Particularly useful after using shaving or splitting machines, its computerised system with specialised software automatically detects thickness anomalies. This feature enables leathers to be selected according to predetermined parameters, reducing labour and improving the efficiency of the selection process.
